May Day Social Justice Information Fair

The Vancouver Mayday Social Justice Information Fair has been held in Grandview Park in Vancouver for over a decade. The fair is an open invitation to a broad range of social justice groups to come down, set up an information table and talk to the community.

Building a free and just society starts with people coming together face-to-face — neighbours meeting, sharing ideas, building relationships, and taking control of political life at the local level. Real change comes when ordinary people organize, educate, and support each other. Every conversation strengthens the foundation for a society based on democracy, solidarity, and collective power.

In 2024 the DSOV agreed to host this event, and hosted again in 2025. Typically we schedule the fair for a Saturday, as close to May Day as possible.
