2024 MAY DAY SOCIAL JUSTICE INFO FAIR
This was our first year of hosting on our own. We invited the Gram Partisans to play and Annie Dan gave a land acknowledgement and welcome. Highlights of the event were the DSOV Fridge Stock and Joey Broda’s amazing lunch - about 140 persons were fed free of charge. Also the Happy Birthday Karl Marx cakes were a hit.
The DSOV also packaged and gave out clover seeds.
2023 MAY DAY SOCIAL JUSTICE INFO FAIR
This was our first year of involvement with the fair and we co-hosted with the original fair organizers. We staged a Workers March and invited the Carnival Band to join us. A highlight was the free lunch served by Joey Broda assisted by the crew of the Fridge Stock.
May Day 2023 was the 1 year Anniversary of Vote Socialist and we celebrated with cake. We also packaged and gave away clover seeds.
