With a forecast of -7 and the potential for 15+ centimeters of snow, the DSoV Mutual Aid Group is postponing our Monthly Fridge Stock to the following Saturday, March 4th. Please stay home & stay safe if you can! We'll see you next weekend!

The Fridge Stock, and many other DSoV initiatives do have a cost associated with them. The DSoV runs on donations and membership dues. If you can afford it, please donate via the DSoV paypal. You can make a one-time donation, or sign up to pay monthly dues of any amount! If all of our members donated $5 a month, we would be able to cover all our costs and expand our operations.

Community Fridges are decentralized food distribution networks and mutual aid initiatives created to provide healthy, free food and essential supplies to our communities across the lower mainland.

Their mission is to combat food insecurity by encouraging communities to take part in laterally-directed mutual aid, starting with providing free, safe, non-policed, accessible and nutritious foods through community fridges and pantries.

The Democratic Socialists of Vancouver (DSoV) run a monthly stock of these fridges & pantries. We meet at noon outside 1890 Spyglass Place, on 1st Avenue under the Cambie Bridge, near Olympic Village Skytrain station.
