If you want to see Public Housing, Defund the VPD, and Free and Expanded Transit on the ballot this year — join us May Day in the park.

Together we can build a happy, healthy, and accessible city. Together we can build a Vancouver For All.

There will be speakers, food, and fun starting at 12:30pm in Grandview Park on Commercial Drive (at Charles St.) We’ll have extra masks for anyone who needs one — we aim to be as inclusive and Covid safe in all our activities.

We recognize this event takes place on Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh territory.

This will be an inclusive event so please wear a mask so elders, kids and vulnerable people can safely attend.

VOTE Socialist will be a new elector organization running candidates for Mayor, Council, School Board and Parks and Recreation.

In March, following months of work by our municipal elections working group, the DSoV general meeting vote to support the formation of a new elector organization together with other socialist groups and grassroots activists — which will be an independent member-driven municipal party starting this year.
